About me
Arill | He/Him | Adult | Eng/Cat/Esp
Hi! My name is Arill and I'm an art and graphic design student from Catalonia. I greatly enjoy drawing, writing and combining these two fields, which is what this site is dedicated to! (More info below.)
I would talk more about myself here, but I struggle with that, here's what my friend Hooper said instead:
"Arill is first and formost what I would describe as a 'creative', someone who can't stop making things with all sorts of ideas poured from the heart. His works, both those artistic or story-telling in nature, are passionate projects that he seems to put and lot of thought and love into. He comes across to me as someone who has a lot of love for the world and it's people's history, from fashion and music to the local activies he participates in."
That aside, here are some things I like: Music (specially from the 60s, 70s and 80s), movies, videogames, anime and manga, horror media, cats, fashion, history, learning...
About the site
This site serves as a place for me to display my projects, mainly original stories, with the possibility of some fan stuff coming up if I feel it's unique or big enough.
While I have a Nekoweb site already, I decided to make this a separate one on Neocities for two reasons: I like having the dedicated space and I believe Neocities's bigger community will work better for projects I want people to see.
For some technical info, both my main site and this site were built using Eleventy and coded on VSCodium. Drawn assets so far are made by me, while the index images are taken from Pexels.
Oh and the star like thing scattered around the site is my mascot. His name is Ziggy, he was meant to be a sona but he became his own thing, kinda. Some nicknames he's gotten are: Sonion, Arilling, Arillito...
